Any woman, regardless of age, class, education, religion, economic status or lifestyle is a potential victim of domestic violence. Domestic violence isn't limited to physical injury. Other types of abuse include emotional, sexual and economic. Women who are or are being abused often suffer from a variety of confusing emotions including fear, desperation, anger and shame.
